Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Third Grade at Horace Mann PreK-6 School!  I can't wait to get the 2018-2019 school year started!  Third grade is a lot of fun, but requires much hard work too.  Students will be transitioning to a more rigorous curriculum requiring independent thought and productivity to prepare for this year's required state testing in both reading and math.  It can be a challenging year for students and parents alike, but I'm sure by working together we can meet that challenge!  If your child is in my homeroom, he/she will be with me for half of the day for reading/language arts and science and with Mrs. Rhouier the rest of the day for math and social studies.

This year I'm excited to be rolling out my first classroom webpage.  Ta-Da!  I'm looking forwarding to using this site to communicate important classroom and school information, as well as share helpful online educational tools.  Links regarding Ohio's testing requirements will also be made available.  I will do my best to keep the site updated, but please be patient with me as I learn to navigate this new (for me!) technology tool.  Please look around the site to familiarize yourself with all things third grade.  I look forward to working with our third grade students and families to make this a great year!
